CCB^® Sleeve With Vapor Barrier For Welding Repair Sections

The CCB^® sleeve with vapor barrier is designed to allow the replacement of existing pipe line sections, by welding, where the product being transmitted has been either volatile or hazardous.

The fitting installs in a similar fashion to the standard CCB^® sleeve; however, the end of the fitting incorporates a barrier that prevents any penetration of harmful, or combustible, vapors into the weld area. The barrier releases upon re-establishment of pressure within the line. The fitting eliminates the need to use gel plugs or temporary expandable plugs in conjunction with flanges. The CCB^® sleeve with vapor barrier can be used in either I.D. coated or non-coated lines.
