01

Girth Weld Protection

I.D. girth weld area is protected by the double set of O-rings compressed between the coating on the fitting’s O.D. and the pipe’s I.D.

02

Environment Accommodation

O-ring chemistry is matched to accommodate corrosive environment

03

Enhance Flow

The I.D. has a gradual taper from the middle to the ends to enhance product flow through the fitting and reducing the possibility of turbulence

04

Permanently Anchor

The fitting is permanently anchored to the pipe when the fitting’s recessed metal backing ring is blended with the two pipe ends during the weld process

01

Installs with a normal welding process

02

Protects the I.D. coating from damaging weld spatter during installation

03

Isolates the girth weld area, providing a 100% I.D. coated pipeline

04

Becomes a part of the finished pipeline providing permanent corrosion protection

05

Attachment system acts as an internal line-up clamp while automatically setting weld gap

06

Creates a full penetration weld that is 100% x-ray/UTI compatible per API & ASME specifications
